On February 24th, 2015, Lt. Col. Dietrich Jensch, the German Military Attaché to Lebanon visited the LMAC to discuss future cooperation and collaboration regarding the humanitarian mine action activities in Lebanon.
During his meeting with the LMAC Director and officers, Mr. Jensch was shortly briefed on the Center’s activity, future plan and challenges looming ahead. The LMAC Director took the opportunity to highlight the Center's need for the underwater Explosive Ordnance (EO) equipment as well as the Lebanese Army officers' need to receive training from the German Army officers in clearing underwater EO.
At the end of the visit, the LMAC Director thanked the German Military Attaché for his valuable efforts, hoping for a fruitful cooperation in the future.
