On February 5th, 2014, British Ambassador to Lebanon Tom Fletcher and the LMAC Director had a field visit to the Chouf region where they witnessed minefield marking and demining operations of the Mines Advisory Group (MAG) teams. They were accompanied by Lord Michael Williams, MAG's newly appointed Chairman, MAG Chief Executive Officer and MAG Regional Operation Manager.

UK is supporting the MAG in Lebanon which works under the supervision of the LMAC to update the National Landmine and UXO Contamination Survey for Lebanon.
