In line with developed countries in the participation of men and women in all sectors of society, a workshop organized by GMAP on gender, on 7 and 8/11/2017 at the RSHDL- Hamana, the workshop was attended by officers, soldiers and members of both sexes from the Lebanon Mine Action Center and civilians from demining societies and organizations under the auspices of the LMAC .

The workshop included discussions on the concept of gender and diversity in the security sector, and humanitarian demining operations for land clearance, mine risk education, victim assistance and the importance of engaging men and women at work, they also discussed how to manage information, analyze and draft reports, recruitment in Quality Management, strategy and standards. At the end of the workshop, GMAP Director gave certificates to participants in the workshop.
