- Establishing a Regional Mine Action Center in Nabatiyeh.
- Holding a symposium on the occasion of the International Day of Action against Cluster Bombs, under the auspices of the Speaker of Parliament, Nabih Berri.
- Holding a workshop to follow up, review and deal with the effects of mines and cluster bombs, in the presence and patronage of the Speaker of Parliament, Nabih Berri.
- Launching a project to support the Lebanese humanitarian program for demining through the "Aata' " bank card.
- Lebanon hosted the second meeting of states parties to the Convention on Cluster Munitions, under the patronage and presence of His Excellency the President of the Republic, General Michel Suleiman.
