In the scope of assessing the work of demining organizations in Lebanon, LMAC received the visit of a team from the Mine Advisory Group in London represented by Ms, Maria Crespo and Mr, Mohammad Abdullah for a period of 3 days ( 10 till 13 July 2017). A team from the operations department at RMAC accompanied the team during this visit that started by visiting the MAG central office in Lebanon.

The team then moved to the Regional Mine Action Center RMAC in Nabatyee where they have been briefed on the work of the center in the demining context and introduced to several minefields in the vicinity of the center currently operated by MAG under the supervision of LMAC. The team concluded this visit by formulating a review of the outcomes of this visit and discussing means to further enhance the capacity of MAG in the demining field.
