As part of its continued support to the Lebanon Mine Action Programme (LMAP), the Japanese Government offered demining equipment to the Dan Church Aid (DCA) teams operating in Zeghrin village under the supervision of the LMAC.

The handing-over ceremony was held in the village of Zeghrin, in the presence of Mr. Seiichi Otsuka, the Japanese Ambassador to Lebanon, the Japanese Embassy's delegation, the LMAC representative, and Mr. Iztok Hocevar, the DCA Manager.

On this occasion, the DCA Manager and the LMAC representative expressed their thanks to the Japanese Government for its concern and ongoing support to the LMAP.
