The LMAC has always been keen on ensuring the highest level of efficiency in humanitarian mine action activities through its coordination and collaboration, in particular with demining organizations to identify their needs and offer them professional advice when necessary. In this scope, the LMAC received the DCA Operations General Manager in Copenhagen from 16 to 19 January 2015.The visit had for purpose to follow up on the activity and the situation of the DCA teams.

The DCA General Manager met with the LMAC Director and was shortly briefed on the Center’s activity, future plans as well as the latest achievements and challenges looming ahead. He also met with the RMACN Director and visited the DCA BAC teams, Southern Lebanon as well as the DCA demining teams operating in Jeita and Araya villages and checked their performance and situation.
