On September 30th and October 2nd, 2014, the ITF Director, Damjan Bergant accompanied by Mrs. Barbara Mali, and the Slovenian Ambassador to Lebanon and the Honorary Consul visited Lebanon to witness the implementation stages of the Lebanese Humanitarian Mine Action Programme and to discuss the means of funding for the NGOs working in the demining field in Lebanon.

The delegation met with the LMAC Director and was briefly acquainted with the Center's activity, the latest achievements and challenges looming ahead. The delegation also met with the RMAC Director in Nabatiyeh and visited the DCA BAC teams operating in South Lebanon to check their performance and equipment.
