During April 2017(6th till 7th of April 2017), the Lebanon Mine Action Center’s (LMAC) Director, Brigadier General Ziad Nasr and Colonel Ahmed Lababidi, the QAQC Section Head/ Arab Regional Cooperation Programme (ARCP) Coordinator visited GICHD (Geneva International Center For Humanitarian Demining) where they discussed and explored future areas for cooperation.

During their two-day visit the LMAC Director and QAQC Section Head met with the Director of the GICHD, Ambassador Stefano Toscano, as well as Heads of Division, the regional cooperation coordinator, and many GICHD advisors. Throughout the two days, the visitors were briefed on many areas of GICHD's work, in particular the GICHD Regional Cooperation Programme (RCP).
