As part of the interest of friendly countries in supporting the demining operations in Lebanon, the military attaché at the Saudi Arabia Embassy in Lebanon visited the Lebanese Mine Action Center in Fayyadia on 25/10/2017. Brig. Gen. Nasr and the officers in the center welcomed the attaché and highlighted on the problems and the challenges that are facing them in the area of demining, he also shed the light on the achievements till date, after this the two parties discussed ways of cooperation related to the humanitarian activities.

The visitor noted the possibility of Saudi Arabia being a member of the Arab Regional Cooperation Program; he also noted that a delegation from the Saudi Arabia Engineering regiment could visit the Lebanon Mine Action Center in the coming months to review the Program. On his turn, Brig. Gen. Nasr said that any visit to our center is welcomed, and he thanked the attaché for his visit and his interest to the problem of mines in Lebanon.
