In a purpose of interchanging expertise between the international Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Morocco and LMAC, a team from ICRC visited LMAC on the 3rd of July 2017 represented by Ms, Sylvie Thoral.

The team listened to a short brief given by the LMAC`s director Brig general Ziad Nasr who provided an overview on mines problem in Lebanon, means for overcoming obstacle, center`s achievements, challenges faced by the center in the demining context in addition to discussing best practices to enhance the cooperation between the center and the committee. In the same context, the committee discussed with LMAC`s director a potential upcoming visit of a team from ICRC Morocco to LMAC to exchange expertise and knowledge in the demining field
