The EU Representative, Mr. Robert Keeley visited Lebanon to witness the implementation stages of the Lebanese humanitarian mine action programme funded by the EU, from 22 September until 2 October 2014.

On the first day of his visit, the EU representative met with the LMAC Director and was shortly briefed on the Center's activity, the latest achievements as well as the future plans and the challenges looming ahead.

In the following days, he visited the RMAC in Nabatiyeh and was briefly acquainted with the Center's activity and visited as well the BAC to witness the activity of the MAG and NPA teams and the HI and DCA demining teams operating in South Lebanon.
