MRE Session to students of Sagesse School and the role of women in the army

In the context of raising awareness about the dangers of mines among citizens, in particular school students, Colonel Marie Abdel Massih from the Lebanon Mine Action Center delivered an awareness session to the students of Sagesse School - English Section - Ain Saada, on 7/12/2017 about mines, cluster bombs and unexploded ordnance, and their forms, types, how to prevent and react to their dangers, and the warning signs.

Then Colonel Abdel Massih gave a brief on the role of women in the army and how to support them and encourage them to join the military field. In the end, awareness flyers were distributed to the 200 students. The two briefs received positive feedback from the audience. The school administration expressed its desire to invite the army to carry out many related activities in the future.
