Quality Management

The quality management section at LMAC aims to make humanitarian mine action activities more efficient, effective and safe.

This will be achieved through:

1- Accreditation of mine action organizations, teams, and equipment.

The accreditation process is done in yearly basis at three levels (organizational accreditation, teams, and individual accreditation).

This process ensure that the humanitarian mine action organization has all legal, administrative, logistical, financial, and technical capacities for the implementation of mine action activities.

2- Quality Assurance (QA)

QA is a pro-active action ensuring that mine action activities are going to meet established standards /requirements; it’s the monitoring of the process.

3- Quality Control (QC)

QC ensures that humanitarian mine action activities have met the requirements; it’s the monitoring of the product.

The quality management section looks for the continual improvement of mine action through QA and QC , monitoring of training , updating national mine action standards in line with IMAS and best practices.
