On September 4th and 18th, 2014, a representative from the Mine Advisory Group (MAG) visited Lebanon to receive an update on the implementation stages of the Humanitarian Mine Action Programme.
In the framework of her visit, the MAG representative conducted field visits to the BAC in South Lebanon where the MAG teams operate, to witness their activity and inspect their equipment.
On August 28th, 2014, the representative of the Mines Advisory Group (MAG) met with the RMACN Director and was briefly acquainted with the Center's activity and the LMAP implementation stages, and conducted field visits to the MAG BAC teams in South Lebanon to check their equipment and performance.
On August 28th, 2014, the DCA Program Coordinator met with the Operations' Head Section at the LMAC and was shortly briefed on the LMAP implementation stages as well as on the DCA teams' activity in Lebanon.
In the following two days, he visited the RMACN as well as the DCA's battle area clearance and demining teams operating in South Lebanon to check their performance and equipment.
On August 26th, 2014, a delegation from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the American University of Beirut (AUB) met with the LMAC Director and officers and discussed future cooperation and collaboration regarding humanitarian mine action activities.
In addition, the delegation conducted field visits to the DCA demining teams to witness their activity and performance.
