Under the supervision of the LMAC, the Sales Manager of Rofi Company, one of the leading suppliers of safety vests for mine-clearing, visited the HI, the NPA and the DCA organizations working in the demining field in Lebanon, on November 5th and 6th, 2014 to present the new modifications that were added to both Rofi's vest and visor to help achieving more effective mine-clearing in a safer manner.
On October 28th, 2014, the Director and the Regional Director of the Spirit of Soccer met with the LMAC Director to discuss the funding and the implementation process of the "MRE project through soccer games", noting that football player activists have received training on delivering MRE clinics since May 2014.
As part of its role in exchanging expertise with affected countries, the LMAC received a Colombian delegation from the Presidential Programme for Mine Action along with Colombian demining officers from 27 to 31 October 2014 in order to share expertise and to develop future cooperation between the affected states.
