The signing ceremony of an agreement between the Ministry of National Defense and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the development of the regional school for humanitarian demining in Lebanon within the framework of the European Union project was held at the Said Al-Khatib Barracks - Hammana.

The Regional School for Humanitarian Demining in Lebanon is conducting courses on Operational Risk Management, involving governmental and non-governmental organizations working in the demining field in the Middle East and North Africa, which is organized by the Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD).
