LMAC QA/QC section head Mjr. Fadi WAZEN and operations officer from RMAC-N 1Lt. Mahdi HELLANI visited MAG-Cambodia on the second week of September 2018. The purpose of the visit was familiarizing with new technologies related to mine detection (HSTAMIDS detectors) and cluster munitions detection (SCORPION), and assessing their compatibility for use in the context of Lebanon. The delegation visited the Cambodian Mine Action and Victims Assistance Authority (CMAA) center and the National Centre for Peacekeeping Forces, Mines and ERW Clearance (NPMEC) to understanding an overview of mine action in Cambodia.

On 21 March, Brigadier General Ziad Nasr, Director of LMAC, welcomed Mrs. Mona and informed her about the activities of LMAC and about the MRE Campaign.
