The LMAC constantly strives to improve the execution of demining operations in Lebanon through its close coordination and collaboration with demining organizations to identify their needs and exchange information. In this context, the LMAC received the MAG technical consultant from January 27th until February 2nd, 2015. The visit had for purpose to follow up on the implementation stages of the Humanitarian Mine Action Programme and to check the activity of the MAG teams operating in the country.

The MAG technical consultant met with the RMACN Director who briefly acquainted him with the Center’s activity and latest achievements, visited the MAG BAC and demining teams operating in several Lebanese villages to check their performance, and concluded his tour at the LMAC premises to assess the results of his visit with the LMAC Director.
