As part of the international community's interest in supporting demining operations in Lebanon, a delegation from Strago Company and Middle East experts on Lebanon demining visited Lebanon on 13/10/2017.The delegation met Brig. Gen. Ziad Nasr, head of the Lebanon Mine Action Center (LMAC) in his office in Fayadiah, in the presence of the officers of the center.

Brigadier General Nasr highlighted on the problems and the challenges that are facing them in the area of demining, he also shed the light on the achievements till date, and after this the two parties discussed ways of cooperation. Then the delegation undertook an exploratory visit to contaminated minefields and areas in the southern town of Rmeish for a study conducted by Strago Company on the possibility of providing support to MMCS for demining.
