As part of the efforts to support the humanitarian demining in Lebanon, the Chinese ambassador visited LMAC on 13 September 2017 accompanied by the military attache of the Chinese Embassy and his assistant. The Brig General Ziad Nasr, LMAC director briefed the ambassador on the latest developments in the humanitarian mine action program and appreciating the assistance provided by China in this area. Then, the two parties discussed ways of cooperation between the two countries in the field of humanitarian demining.

At the end of the meeting, Brig General Ziad Nasr thanked the Republic of China for all the support it provided to Lebanon in this field. He hoped that the coming days would bring much more support from the Chinese Government. The Ambassador thanked LMAC director for the good reception and assured that he would do his best to help Lebanon to overcome this problem.
