The Marshall Legacy Institute (MLI) Representative visited Lebanon from 19 to 23 August 2014 to follow up on the Institute's Mine Detection Dogs' donation to the LAF and its financial contribution to the Humanitarian programs.
At the Lebanon mine action center, the MLI representative met with the LMAC Director and was shortly briefed on the Center's activity and the LMAP implementation stages.
The MLI representative next visited the village of Alley to witness the mine victims' vocational training, and conducted as well field visits to Akoura village to observe the LAF's mine detecting dogs' activity.
At the last site of the visit, the MDD's lodge at Said al Khatib's Casern in Hammana, the MLI representative inspected the MDDs and was briefed on their situation and performance.
