On May 30th, 2014, a delegation from the Japanese Embassy met with the LMAC Director and discussed future collaboration and support regarding the mine problem in Lebanon.

During the meeting, the Japanese Embassy Staff members requested an update on the Mine Action Programme’s current situation.

At the end of the visit, the LMAC Director thanked the delegation and the Japanese Government for their contribution to the LMAP, hoping for further support to eradicate the contamination problem in Lebanon.
