In the context of raising awareness about the dangers of mines among citizens, and in order to avoid the risk of remnants of war left by terrorist groups in the area of Arsal and its vicinity, the Lebanon Mine Action Center delivered an awareness lecture for youth and students of schools at the Center for Reading and Cultural Activation in the town of Al Kaa, 24/11/2017, where samples of mines were presented, cluster bombs and unexploded ordnance, and forms, types, how to prevent and react to their dangers were identified, as were the warning signs.

The session received positive feedback from the audience. At the end, awareness flyers were distributed to the 113 guests, and the mayor of Al Kaa presented a memorial shield to the LMAC as thanks and appreciation.
