On the 9th of May 2013, a workshop was organized under the title of “Victim Assistance; Needs, Gaps, and Priorities”, facilitated by Global Technology and Management Consultancy. The workshop was attended by representatives from the LMAC, NPA, UNDP, the Ministry of Social Affairs, and 12 local organizations.
The workshop objectives were the following:
-Reviewing the results of NPA’s Needs Assessment;
-Mapping services currently available;
-Discussing needs, priorities, and challenges;
-Formulating a set of recommendations;
-Setting a draft implementation plan for the way forward.
During the workshop, the MVA Head Section at LMAC announced that the Center is currently setting the framework for a database update that would gather all victim-related information.
