Overall, approximately 70% of the total land suspected to be contaminated from landmines, including both minefields and mined areas but excluding the Blue Line, was cleared until 2013.

There remain some landmine-affected areas in Lebanon where there is currently no work being undertaken because of lack of funding which would allow for more demining teams or because such areas are mostly listed as third priority which will be tackled once second priority land has been completed.
