The Lebanon Mine Action Center, in collaboration with the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) and with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), organized a 5-day regional workshop on "Quality Management in Arabic" from 5 to 9 May, 2014 at Fouad Shehab for Command and Staff College (CSC). Representatives of the GICHD, the Arab countries (Yemen, Jordan, Algeria, Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Palestine, Somalia, Mauritania, Western Sahara and Iraq) as well as Lebanese officers attended the workshop.

The Lebanon Mine Action Center in collaboration with the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) organized a workshop on " Mine Action Terminologies and Definitions in Arabic " for three days from 18 to 20 February, 2014 , at the Central Military Club in Beirut , Lebanon. Representatives of the Arabic-speaking countries affected by landmines, cluster munitions and other remnants of war (ERW) from both current and past conflicts attended the workshop (Egypt , Yemen , Jordan , Iraq , Libya and Lebanon) .

As part of its role in exchanging expertise with affected countries, the LMAC received the Libyan Mine Action Center delegation's visit (10-13 February 2014) in order to share expertise and to develop future collaboration and cooperation between the affected states. The delegation visited the RMAC in Southern Lebanon, and conducted field visits to the MAG BAC teams and the LAF engineering teams. At the end of the visit, the delegation received a commemorative shield from the LMAC Director.
