After the successful two Arabic-language outreach programme (AOP)’s workshops, and based on the 3rd AOP outcomes, the LMAC organized a one-week workshop on "Mine action and the application of International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) in Arabic" from 16 to 20 March, 2015 at the Central Military Club in Beirut, Lebanon. Representatives of the GICHD, the UNDP, the 13 Arab countries (Yemen, Jordan, Algeria, Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Palestine, Somalia, Mauritania, Western Sahara, Syria, Chad and Iraq) and Afghanistan as well as Lebanese officers attended the workshop. This UNDP supported workshop was organized in collaboration with the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) and funded by the European Union (EU).

As part of its commitment to fostering its global partnerships and to working jointly with those striving to support its noble cause of saving lives, the LMAC received a delegation from Conflict Recovery International (CRI) that is seeking to support the Lebanese humanitarian mine action cause through the capacity building of national mine action organizations.

The Swiss Government is currently seeking to support the LMAC in dealing with the mine problem in Lebanon. In this scope, the Swiss Embassy's Military Attaché to Lebanon and Representative met with the LMAC Director and officers to discuss the Center's needs for fulfilling its clearance objective.

On February 24th, 2015, Lt. Col. Dietrich Jensch, the German Military Attaché to Lebanon visited the LMAC to discuss future cooperation and collaboration regarding the humanitarian mine action activities in Lebanon.
