In cooperation with the Steering Committee on MRE and under the auspices of the Lebanese Army Commander, the LMAC launched a seven-day Mines/ERW risk education Campaign (23-28 April 2012) targeting in particular universities and schools. They organized mine risk education plays, handed out leaflets, sent mine risk education text messages, and conducted television and radio interviews with officers about mine problem in Lebanon.
