In order to check the Handicap International (HI) teams' activity, needs and financial situation, the HI's Financial Director and Technical Consultant visited the HI demining teams operating Northern Lebanon, on January 29th, 2015.
The LMAC constantly strives to improve the execution of demining operations in Lebanon through its close coordination and collaboration with demining organizations to identify their needs and exchange information. In this context, the LMAC received the MAG technical consultant from January 27th until February 2nd, 2015. The visit had for purpose to follow up on the implementation stages of the Humanitarian Mine Action Programme and to check the activity of the MAG teams operating in the country.
The LMAC has always been keen on ensuring the highest level of efficiency in humanitarian mine action activities through its coordination and collaboration, in particular with demining organizations to identify their needs and offer them professional advice when necessary. In this scope, the LMAC received the DCA Operations General Manager in Copenhagen from 16 to 19 January 2015.The visit had for purpose to follow up on the activity and the situation of the DCA teams.
