As part of its role in exchanging expertise with affected countries, the LMAC received a Colombian delegation from the Presidential Programme for Mine Action along with Colombian demining officers from 27 to 31 October 2014 in order to share expertise and to develop future cooperation between the affected states.
A 4-day regional workshop for the Norwegian People's Aid (NPA)'s Directors and Consultants from Norway, Bosnia, the United Kingdom, Sued, Jordan, Pakistan and the United States of America, was organized from 13 to 17 October 2014 in Lebanon in order to review the NPA teams' current situation and exchange information.
On October 7th, 2014, the DCA Technical Consultant in Copenhagen met with the LMAC Director and was shortly briefed on the Center's activity, the latest achievements as well as the future plans and the challenges looming ahead.
The EU Representative, Mr. Robert Keeley visited Lebanon to witness the implementation stages of the Lebanese humanitarian mine action programme funded by the EU, from 22 September until 2 October 2014.
