As part of the international community's interest in supporting demining operations in Lebanon, a delegation from Strago Company and Middle East experts on Lebanon demining visited Lebanon on 13/10/2017.The delegation met Brig. Gen. Ziad Nasr, head of the Lebanon Mine Action Center (LMAC) in his office in Fayadiah, in the presence of the officers of the center.

As part of the international interest in supporting Lebanon in dealing with the problem of cluster bombs, the German Ambassador in Lebanon visited a cluster bomb field in Yatar village, which is being cleaned by the Lebanese Association LAMiNDA under the supervision of the Lebanon Mine Action Center at the head of a delegation from the Embassy on 11/10/2017, Gen. Ziad Nasr and officers from center briefed him on the ongoing work inside the field and the means used in the clearance process, in order to investigate the possibility of supporting the project to remove these bombs in the villages near Tyre.

On 26/9/2017, the Italian Ambassador in Lebanon with the military attaché at the Embassy visited the Lebanon Mine Action Center; Brigadier General Ziad Nasr welcomed the delegation and briefed them on the tasks related to the center, especially in the field of humanitarian demining operations, and he insisted for the need of teams to assist in clearance operations and in the implementation of awareness campaign sessions all over the Lebanon without distinction between Lebanese citizens and Syrian refugees and about the importance of the assistance to mine victims.
