As part of the efforts to support the humanitarian demining in Lebanon, the Chinese ambassador visited LMAC on 13 September 2017 accompanied by the military attache of the Chinese Embassy and his assistant. The Brig General Ziad Nasr, LMAC director briefed the ambassador on the latest developments in the humanitarian mine action program and appreciating the assistance provided by China in this area. Then, the two parties discussed ways of cooperation between the two countries in the field of humanitarian demining.

In the scope of the international Community interest in the mine action activities in Lebanon, the Norwegian Ambassador to Lebanon visited LMAC on 11 September 2017. Brig. Gen. Ziad Nasr briefed the ambassador on the progress in the humanitarian mine action program in Lebanon and discussed several means for potential cooperation between two countries.. At the end of the meeting, the LMAC director thanked Norway for the generous support to Lebanon and thanked the Ambassador particularly for her special interest in the mine problem in Lebanon.

In the context of visits to the follow-up to the work of demining societies and organizations in Lebanon, Ms. Amy Susan Shepherd, Mr. Matthew Benjamin Benson and Mr. Paul Howard Waller, members from the DFID, visited Lebanon on 6/9/2017, to view the Humanitarian Mine Action Program and the ongoing operations of the demining teams, where the delegation began a visit to a cluster clearance site in Aynata, which is being cleared by the Norwegian People's Aid Association (NPA) and a mine clearance site in Mays al-Jabal, which is being cleared by the Mine Advisory Group (MAG), where he listened to a brief about the operations of the teams. The delegation also saw a mine demolition that had been removed from the minefield in Mays al-Jabal.

In the scope of the international Community interest in the mine action activities in Lebanon, LMAC received a diplomatic visit of the Ambassador of Colombia Mrs Georgina Al Mallat on 25/8 /2017. The brigadier general Ziad Nasr provided a brief on LMAC most recent achievements especially the progress made in equipping the RSHDL and preparing it to start delivering effective trainings in terms of humanitarian demining.
