Meeting with a group from ITF at LMAC
On 29th of December, A Meeting was held with Mrs. Nina Ivic and Mr. Dino Sujak from ITF organization at LMAC's Director office, attended by the Victim Assistance section head and a Representative of University of Balamand. During the Meeting, a discussion was held about the project of the above mentioned organization regarding the Mines victim Assistance and future cooperation plans.
Meeting with the office of Weapons Removal and Abatement's Director
The Director of WRA in the Office of Political-Military Relations at the US Department of State in Lebanon visited the Lebanese Mine Action Center where they discussed the current situation in Lebanon and LMAC's future plans. As she visited a minefield in Bhamdoun area, which is being cleaned by DCA Lebanon teams.
Meeting with UNMAS Acting Director
UNMAS Acting Director Mrs. ELLIN COHN visited LMAC premise, where a meeting was held with the Director Brigadier General Jihad Al Bechelany and officers from LMAC with representors from all the Implemented agencies working in Lebanon, to discuss the progress of the Mine Action Program.
