Visit of DRC Lebanon Country Director to LMAC
On 12 November 2018, Brigadier General Ziad Nasr, Director of LMAC, welcomed Mr. Rickard Hartmann, DRC Lebanon Country Director, Mr. Hartmann informed
General Nasr that they most probably managed to secure Danish funds to support Mine Risk Education in Lebanon; in addition they discussed the ways of cooperation in the future.
Visit of LMAC Director to MAG HQ in Manchester
In 5-7 November 2018, Director of Lebanon Mine Action Center, Brigadier General Ziad Nasr, visited MAG HQ inManchester - UK. where they stressed to develop on the excellent relationship between MAG Program in Lebanon and the LMAC, and they discussed the achievements over the last 18 months.
GIS Training
On 5 November 2018, Lebanon Mine Action Center held a training about GIS on Essential Workflows, Performing Analysis and Geo Databases which will extend for 6 days. The training was attended by LMAC and UNDP Staff.
