During February 2017, the head of LMAC MRE section, attended The 20th Meeting of National Mine Action Directors and United Nations Advisers (NDM-UN) from 7-10 February 2017 in the Palais des Nations at the United Nations Office at Geneva.

During November 2016 (28th of Nov till 1st of Dec 2016), the LMAC head of operations department attended the Fifteen Meeting of States Parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-personnel Mines and on Their Destruction in the republic of Chili.
IMSMA level 2 training in Geneva
During November 2016 (7th till 18th of Nov 2016), one of the LMAC`s staff attended a training on IMSMA level 2 in Geneva. IMSMA is a software developed by the GICHD (Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining) as a data management tool for use in mine action centers.
Non Technical Survey Training
During September 2016 ( 14th till 25th September 2016), an officer from the operations department attended a course on the Non- Technical survey especially suited to the practical exercises for NTS and scenario–based training at the German Armed Forces UN Training Centre in Hammelburg.
